Griddle Mongolian Grill - Eastvale

Last night I got amazing service, even though the server spoke minimal English but was very responsive. The check out cashier was nice and explained everything in English. It was honestly a great experience for a vegetarian to go to a meat restaurant. They have tofu!They have so many veggies. Best Asian market style food for plant based people becauze of the buffet style, you pick and choose your veggies and its so nice. They also have so many sauces, think of an Asian subway on crack. Thats how awesome this place is

The wait was 15 min for opening week. There is a good variety of veggies and meats, but I give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars because the food lacked any flavor. That is also after I drowned my food in sauces before cooking, so I am not sure what went wrong? They charge by the pound...I paid $52 for a family of 4 and 2 drinks, so it’s definitely not on the cheap side. I think the Rancho location is much better.

UPDATE 2-16-2020: SUMMARY: MUCH IMPROVED, upgrade to 4 Stars. Made a return visit on Sunday, it was a long wait, the line wrapped around the dinning area, it took me 55 minutes to finally sit down with my food. Besides that, things have improved, three chefs work together, the first one separate the meats and Vegas to be cooked, setting the noodles aside for later, the second chef cooks the meats then move on to the third chef who cooks the noodles with the meats. Well executed. Also, sweeteners are stocked at the iced tea fountain. However, the dinning room is still filled with strong smell from the grill. SUMMARY 2-14-2020: WELCOME NEW TASTE IN TOWN, GREAT CONCEPT, SHORT ON EXECUTIONS. Grand opening on February 9, this new Mongolian BBQ brings a welcoming new flavor to Eastvale. Through a self-serving line, you fill a bowl with Veges, meats are kept frozen, Chicken, Beef, Pork and Lamb, Shrimp), seasonings and condiments, next, the grilling chef will cook your food, next, you move to the cashier where you order drinks and pay for the cooked food, for lunch is $5.26 per pound, and, $5.56 per pound for dinner. Being a newly opened restaurant, the inexperience in the management and staff unavoidably surfaced. The grilling chef charred my food. The store owner should've taught him when multiple orders are done at the same time, move the cooked food to a cool spot on the grill so it won't be over-cooked or charred. The air-vent above the grill is not sufficient, you went home smelling like the BBQ in your hair and cloth. To compensate this issue, they cranked up the AC, unfortunately it quickly made the food cold. They do serve unsweetened iced tea, but, sweeteners aren't available. Their napkins are quite possibly the smallest I've ever seen. There is no handicapped parking spaces near the store entrance. All and all, great concept, short on executions.

7.50$ per lb, big bowls, self serve, good ingredients. The noodles are good but heavy. They weigh your food after cooking so you don't have to worry about water weight. Rice comes with so you could skip noodles and save money. Mine came out a little salty, will cut soy sauce to one scoop. I packed 2 grip of beef, 2 pork 1 lamb, light veggies onion spinach sprouts bell pep mushroom pineapple. 2 grips of noodles. 2 scoop garlic water, 2 ginger, 2 chili oil with flakes (stir the bottom), 1 lemon and 2 soy. Total 2.5 lbs, 20$ after tax. Added the sweet sour sauce at the table to cut the salty. Delicious, good staff, clean place, will come again and try using less noodles, less soy and take free rice.

This place is Amazing! I have been eating here for a couple of years lol. I started with the one that was in Ontario called the Big Wok Mongolia Grill. So when i saw that they had built the Griddle closer to home, i was so happy lol. What made things EVEN BETTER is that some of the amazing staff aamd cooks from Ontario moved to this Eastvale location!! I definitely recommend this place. The food is Amazingly delicious and the staff and cooks are friendly. You CAN NOT GO WRONG HERE!!

Well first, we asked for the rice that came with our bowls and the cashier working at 8:00pm on 7.13.23 told us they were out of rice. Which was fine, until we saw that they indeed did have rice they just weren’t put in the little boxes prepared for the cashier. My boyfriend asked again since he saw the man preparing the boxes, and she again said no. It was so odd. We noticed a customer got rice… So, then my boyfriend went up to the register to ask for the rice and she charged him $5 for 2 containers. We were confused because we thought the rice came with our bowls as stated on the website. Then, we noticed a few customers after that she gave the rice to them with no charge? I don’t know what her deal was, but we don’t be returning.
